Una experiencia triste porque perdí a mi gato, pero ahí hicieron lo imposible por salvarlo. Lo recomiendo muy buena atención. Excelente.

What can I say about Dr. Elakbawy and his wonderful staff?
An amazing and welcoming environment to our pets. In good times or in bad like my dog was at his last hours of his life Dr. E fought to save him. On a Sunday he was off and Dr. E encouraged me to bring my dog where everything was familiar to him. His last moments (my Duke) were spent w/his close care in oxygen.
His staff one better than the other. They’re loving with Tom, Michelle, Colleen and more caring staff.
The Receptionist, Hanna, looked for the blue urn for Duke’s cremation because I asked !! What more does a Vet office need give and good caring advice ?

The Doctor and entire staff at Lincoln Avenue cat and dog hospital are all so caring and compassionate on their work and towards the pets. I brought my cat in on the brink of death and they all worked tirelessly to save him. I got to bring him home a week later and he is doing amazingly. The Doctor took the time to answer all my questions and follow up whenever I was worried about my cat. I would recommend Lincoln Avenue to anyone looking for amazing care for your pet!

I can not say more about the staff and fabulous Dr. at this practice. I have had the pleasure of knowing Tom for many, many years and several cats so my trust was already placed with this practice….but when our family cat started having recurring issues with his bladder I knew we had to rush him there. If not for their quick interventions we would have lost our sweet baby. Dr. E took his time and explained everything to us for the emergency surgery our boy had to endure. On top of that for the upcoming days (falling through Christmas and New Years) he had constant contact via text with my daughter answering every single question and checking in on Wade. To deal with my level of crazy gives them a top notch recommendation on it’s own to boot. Whether it is for a nail clipping or a life or death situation, you are in trusting and capable hands with Lincoln Ave.

If you are looking for a veterinary office that has it all, I highly recommend Lincoln Ave Cat & Dog Hospital. My cat Oliver went in for a dental scaling and extraction. During his follow up appointment, Dr. Elakbawy noticed an irregularity and recommended a biopsy. Oliver was subsequently diagnosed with aggressive Squamous Cell Carcinoma and required a major surgery to remove the tumor, which was done as soon as a possible. Thankfully, Dr. Elakbawy is qualified to perform procedures which typically require specialist visits, prolonging time, which we did not have. Although the recovery for a major procedure was not fun, we are very impressed with the results. Oliver is improving every day, and his wounds are much better than we thought they would be. In addition, the staff at Lincoln Ave has been very attentive and caring. Communication with the office is excellent—Dr. E., and the office staff followed up to check on Oliver multiple times; it is obvious they care about their patients. Thank you Dr. Elakbawy for giving Oliver a second chance at life, and to all the staff at Lincoln Ave Cat & Dog for being so diligent and caring during a difficult time.

I am highly impressed by Dr. El-Akbawy's knowledge, compassion, and expertise. He gets on the phone personally to explain your pet's status and with extreme detail and patience. Our cat was so sick and he just came home looking and acting better than he has in quite some time. We couldn't be happier.

I don’t usually write reviews but I have nothing but good things to say about this animal hospital. I’ve taken my cat here since she was a kitten and the staff and Dr are so professional and welcoming. After having a horrible experience at a different animal hospital, I will never take my cat anywhere else. 3 months ago, I needed to get my cat spayed and took her to the Lyndhurst animal hospital which was 2 minutes away from my house just to have her seen quickly as I saw some blood in her behind area and it would’ve taken me half an hour to get to Lincoln Ave hospital. They did a ‘pre-op’ which was technically just a FELV test and after seeing the conditions of the hospital and the staff’s attitude, I refused to move forward with the surgery. When I went to pick up my cat’s results, they told me that my cat tested positive for FELV and verbatim said “because your cat tested positive, we wouldn’t spay her because cats with FELV don’t usually live long anyway” with 0 empathy or further explanation. I immediately made an appointment and brought my cat to Lincoln Ave Animal Hospital and explained the situation while in tears and they did an in-house FELV test and literally showed me her results after 10 minutes and explained she had small levels of exposure to the virus and that does not mean she will die and that she can absolutely get spayed. They performed the spay procedure and she healed perfectly and I was told to come back in 3-6 months to check if the leukemia was still in her system. I took her yesterday and did the test and it came back negative. I waited 3 months to write this review and I couldn’t be more thankful to the team at Lincoln Ave. This place is worth every penny and worth the drive!
