I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to the amazing staff at Dogs and Cats daycare, especially to Carlos, who has truly made such a positive impact on my dog, Baron. Since he was just 3 months old, Baron has been going there, and now that he's 2 years old, he can't wait for his daily adventures!

Every day, he eagerly waits at the door for Carlos to take him for his 2 ½ hour playtime, and it's clear he absolutely adores him. It gives me such peace of mind knowing that Baron is in such caring hands. When I had to leave the country for over a week, I felt completely comfortable leaving him there.

Thank you to everyone at Dogs and Cats for all the love and attention you give to Baron. We truly appreciate everything you do! Baron loves you all!

Lilo loves coming to daycare here! She drags me in and doesn’t even turn around to say goodbye. My girl is so well cared for and the staff are always warm and welcoming. Lilo has also received little goodie bags around the holidays which she thoroughly enjoys. Dogs & Cats offers great doggy care and I appreciate how clean and tidy they always keep the facility.

We've been taking our dog to the daycare here for almost two years and are very pleased with the service. The daycare is clean, calm, and well organized. Ariel, Carlos, and team are fantastic and give lots of personal attention to the dogs. Other places we've tried in the past pale in comparison to Dogs Cats NYC. We highly recommend!

Sending my dog to DogsCatsNYC has been the best thing ever for me and my puppy, Ozzie! Ariel, Carlos, and the rest of the staff take care of my puppy like he’s their own. Ozzie spends about 5 days a week at daycare while I’m at work, boards there when I’m on vacation, and gets picked up/dropped off by DogsCatsNYC frequently. I trust them with my puppy and with accessing my apartment to get him/drop him off. Ozzie absolutely loves daycare and tries to walk me there on the weekends because he misses it so much. I feel so lucky to have found a place that I can trust with my puppy while also providing him with opportunities to socialize with other dogs his size.

My tiny dog, Lucky Penny and I love Dogs Cats NYC! The store and facilities are absolutely spotless, decorated beautifully, and stocked with amazing pet supplies. Ariel is lovely and does a wonderful job grooming Penny. Five stars all the way!

Dogs Cats NYC does not care about your pets. An older, balding man disappeared into the back to put my dog’s harness on, and I couldn’t see him on the camera nor in my line of sight. After a few seconds, I hear my dog HOLLER. When he finally came out with my dog, I politely asked what happened. All he said was “It was the clicker.” I figured he was speaking about the harness. I left, and I realized he never even apologized for hurting my little guy.

When I went back the next day to drop my pup off, I informed Ariel what happened. I even said “I understand it happens, I just wanted to flag that.” She claimed he already told her what happened and that “The harness pulled his hair.”

This is what tipped me off.

I’ve accidentally gotten my dog’s fur caught in the wheels of my computer chair. He simply moved away with a few less strands of fur. No whimper, no scream, nothing. But when this person is handling my dog and “the clicker” catches his fur, he’s screaming?

While I’m telling Ariel this, the same gentleman emerges from the back and asks “What happened?” I reiterate the story, and tell him I would have appreciated an apology, and he immediately says “It’s normal.” I said “I’m trusting to you something, someONE I’m caring for and you hurt him, and you didn’t even say anything. You just handed him off.” He reiterated “It’s normal.”

I responded with “People stub their toes every day but if you somehow caused it, you apologize.”

“Why would I apologize? It’s an animal,” he responded.

I said “Excuse me?” to make sure I heard him right.

“It’s an animal,” he repeated.

I took my dog and left. I will not be returning. If this is happening my dog- a family member- I don’t doubt it’s happening to others. His answers and doubling down, and Ariel’s silence, are testaments to it.

Dogs Cats NYC is the only place I take Peanut for grooming. Ariel and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the facilities are immaculate, and the services they provide are reasonably priced. They do a fantastic job and add a special touch to everything!
